Bill Egan is an actor/director/producer and started his theater career in Michigan studying with The Actors Studio alumnus Len Kluge in his Spotlight Actor’s Workshop after graduating from Michigan State University. He has worked in regional and professional theaters and throughout the US as an actor/director/producer. He's worked with BoarsHead Theater, Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Spotlight Theater, Riverwalk Theater, Garvin Theater, The Lobero Theatre, Rubicon Theatre Company, Circle Bar B, and Center Stage Theater. Bill’s partnership with Peter Frisch started in 2011 as an actor in Frisch’s Awake and Sing! Several classes with Frisch immediately followed and the work was so good that Bill approached Frisch to partner with him in forming The Producing Unit with their inaugural production God of Carnage in 2012.
They were happily joined by Ivy Vahanian as the third
Co-Founder/Producer in 2014. Bill calls both Peter and Ivy true theatrical artists and very good friends!
Ivy Vahanian is an American actress living between Costa Rica and Santa Barbara. She lived in New York City for many years, acting on Broadway and off. Ivy has worked in many professional theaters across the United States, including Arena Stage, The Actors Theater of Louisville, Geva Theater, City Theater, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Hartford Stage, Cleveland Playhouse and Virginia Stage Company. She has worked internationally touring throughout China and continues to work in Costa Rica, most recently with Teatro de la Tierra. She is an acting graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
